I tried connecting my QNAP Surveillance Station using the Synology platform and got errors that the URL was invalid. Logged in as admin i go to Privilege Settings>shared folders> then i try and chick any of the folders which i want to fix the permission for and click on the action>edit shared folder permission where the list for all my users are along with Admin(in blue icon) and Administrators(orange icon) On Admin for preview says and continues to say "Deny Access" I've tried clicking on the deny access and apply and then go back again and click on read/write and apply and preview remains "deny access" but the "administrators" says read/write I don't know what to do My system hdd is not accessible, my surveillance hdd(for surveillance station) not accessible my third hdd has 3 folders that are accessible but a 4th is not because i just don't have the "permission" i already restarted the system multiple times as well.I don’t think so. Now i can't change my permissions on the settings.
I was creating some accounts for family members and during the course of testing out their accounts to make sure they couldn't access certain files and hard drives files something must have gotten corrupted.
